The literal translation of the title of this movie is Divine Wind (and) Heroic Dragon.
The movie is loosely based on the real story that really happened during World War II, but the attempt to alter the historical facts in order to put a more nationalistic touch on this movie actually ruined the supposedly good film. in real life, the fight took place at the presidential palace of the head of the Chinese puppet government Jing-Wei Wang and his foreign invaders guests/masters, and but their roles were switched in the movie in order to to boost nationalism. Although this resulting in much more dramatic story, this change tarnished the original good intension because such added touch give the clear impression of political propaganda.
