Raising Helen (2004) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A girl is shown in an extremely tight and short strapless dress, and married men are making remarks about her attractiveness.

There is a fashion show where the girls are shown in corsets and thongs. Followed by girls in push up bras and knickers and topless men.

A girl mentions she isn't going to prom, but she ends up sneaking into a motel room with a boy to have sex. They are interrupted before anything happens. The boy semi-has his pants off, and the girl is fully clothed.

Violence & Gore

It is mentioned that a couple die in a car accident. The car accident isn't shown. (This is the reason that Helen becomes the kid's guardian in the first place.)

Profanity

2 uses of the word "Bitch".

The theme that involves losing a loved one can be disturbing to some people.
