The literal translation of the title of this film is The Singer from Mountain of Flames.
Mountain of Flames is located in the Xinjiang, northwestern part of China, an area where many minorities reside, such as Khazakh, Tartar, Uzebek, Tadzhjik, Uighur, and etc., all of them had long traditions of singing and their folk music is considered national treasure. The actor who played the protagonist is a musician himself.
