I'd like to 'bend' time & space so I can go back and UN-watch this!
7 July 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This movie was made back in the early 00's in and around the Tampa, FL area. I only mention the city because it's the only reason I wanted to watch this movie. I was born in Tampa and worked there on a daily basis growing up, so I wanted to get a peek at my old stomping grounds caught on film. If you have any connection to this film, then you might want to take a look at it -- don't watch it for a good story or witty humor, because it has none whatsoever. Some Bradley Cooper fans may want to watch it because he's in it -- trust me, move along... there is nothing to see here.

Kenna (Porch) is dating two guys: Jeff (Cooper) and Martin (Gail). Jeff and Martin know all about each other and Kenna's not hiding it. She told them both right up front about the 'arrangement'. She's not looking to settle down, she's just out there for a good time. Of course, as is always with these types of relationships, love starts to worm it's sneaky little way in. Kenna is not the relationship type, though -- thanks, mainly in part to her dirt bag dad (McKinney) who is a carny. He puts down her mother right in front of her and travels all across the United States with her in tow. She's also a photographer about to open her first show and her it seems that her mother is trying to get back in contact with her.

The movie is extremely slow and exceptionally dull, even her carny stories (and she has a lot) do nothing to move the movie along. The only burning question about this movie is -- who is she going to end up with: businessman Martin or bartender Jeff? All of the performances are wooden and seem very forced and it just doesn't seem real at all, it's like I was watching a scientific presentation on messed-up relationships, especially with the kids -- ugh, they were awful, I wanted to plug my ears than be forced to listen to them, it's like they were reading off of cue cards. Even Bradley Cooper can't save this film, this was one of his first leading roles and it's pretty obvious that he's come long way since this drivel.
