An excellent picture, telling the story of a Western mine, and Eastern man, and a girl, and in Indian who ran a race and won $20,000 with which the mine was developed. Upon this hung the success of the young man's love affairs. Eventually everything came out right. The Indian ran the race, the money was put into the mine, and the rich pay dirt that came out disposed the girl's father in favor of the young man, and all ended well with the Indian as a partner in the business. Without any particular dramatic merit, the picture is pleasing because it tells a pleasant story in a snappy way, and leaves the audience with an impression that the world is a pretty good place after all. - The Moving Picture World, January 14, 1911
