The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Dangerous Honeymoon.
This movie, like most contemporary Chinese crime movie, is based on the true story that really happened in real life. The couple was actually a pair of detectives that worked together and eventually got married, and on their honeymoon, crimes like those depicted in the movie happened, and what happened afterward in real life was pretty much like those described in the movie.
What is not told in the movie, however, was that after the case was solved, deeper investigation revealed that top rank municipal officials were involved and the case was just a result of the corruption, and the honeymoon couple was actually sent away so corrupted cadres can do what they did. The anti-corruption effort cased by the criminal case afterward was ignored because governmental censorship would never allow it to be shown.
