Crazy Credits

There is a dedication in the closing credits to Christopher Reeve and Dana Reeve.
The opening credits are seen in a trip through space, from Krypton to Earth, in a manner reminiscent of the Superman (1978) opening credits sequence.

The credits contain this statement: "Clarke's Third Law - Profiles of the Future (1973) by Sir Arthur C. Clarke which is a reference to the paraphrasing of the law ["Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"] twice in the movie.
