I liked the first, but the second one I must say was a bit better. It did at many points resemble the first, but the improved graphics and sound made up for that. The storyline was also much better. It's unusual that Picard would condone the use of a S.W.A.T-like team to solve problems, but I suppose there is a first for everything ;)
It was also funny and cool that they made up a story about how Voyager got out of the Borg cube in the final episode of the ST:Voy series.
Recommended , even if you're not a Trek fan. It is a very good shoot'em up game. There are those I like better, but for me it was a good experience.
