More than 30 years ago, Randy Newman wrote a song about how hard it is to live in Baltimore.

That might be as true now as it was then, but despite that (or because of it), little old Baltimore has emerged as some sort of television paradise - a cradle of miracles where TV producers go, toil for a time, and then return to civilization with some of the best TV shows ever made.

Last night Bloody-Disgusting's SpookyDan visited the set of Blood Shot, which is currently lensing in Los Angeles. Until we unroll our video report, you can dig on a short piece, along with three still taken on set. Brad Dourif, Lance Henriksen, Michael Bailey Smith, Brennan Elliott, Assaf Cohen, Matin Klebba, Azita Ghanizada, Charles Napier, Paula Trickey and Kristi Klainos all star in this vampire action film, which was originally pitched as a short film. »

Blood Shot producer Scott Pearlman got in touch with us to add More names to the growing list of cast for the film, which is now lensing in Los Angeles, Ca. "In addition to Brad Dourif, we also have Lance Henriksen (Aliens), who plays the Vampire's boss. We also have Charles Napier (Rambo 2) as the President of the United States while Paula Trickey (Maniac Cop 2) and Kristi Klainos round out the rest of the cast." A tough cop pursues a Terminator-like vampire (Michael Bailey Smith), constantly taking a beating. No one believes him. He's completely on his own. We've been informed that Brad Dourif (Child's Play), Brennan Elliott (Poltergeist: The Legacy), Assaf Cohen, Martin Klebba and Azita Ghanizada will all be joining Michael Bailey Smith (The Hills Have Eyes) in Blood Shot, which is being helmed by Dietrich Johnston here in Los Angeles. In addition, we've been provided with a long synopsis for the film, which stars Bailey Smith as a government vampire. »
