The tour starts in Steyr, in Upper Austria, bringing scenes associated with Christmas there, in Salzburg, the Salzkammergut and finally Switzerland. The music chosen for this tour is principally taken from baroque concertos evoking Christmas.
Notice that the DVD box states "Christmas in Austria" at the top and does NOT mention Perry Como. That's because this is NOT the Perry Como Show from 1976 that we like to remember. There is NO traditional Christmas Music or singing by Perry Como in this video. In fact, Perry Como and Senta Berger do NOT appear anywhere in this video. And the director for this video is NOT Steven Pouliot. The video does show some nice winter scenes and has nice classical music playing in background (no talking). Nice music but the big surprise is that "Silent Night" (Stille Nacht), which was composed in Austria, is omitted from the video. Perhaps we can thank NAXOS which is headquartered in China.—martin
