I saw ANOTHER PIECE OF ROMANCE listed as a Taiwanese comedy and was expecting some rom com with cameoing Hong Kong stars, something light and breezy, but I was certainly wrong in that respect. This is a vicious little Category III film given over to the usual lengthy and strenuous sex scenes and a rather unpleasant little plot about black magic and a curse that causes women to castrate their lovers! As expected it's very explicit in terms of both sex and gore, although the castrations are bizarrely played for laughs; Charlie Cho has the best role here but is only seen briefly. It's all rather unpalatable and unpleasant, truth be told.
