I must say that Shepard Smith is one of the better news people in the business, I just love the way he tells the news and his nightly program "The Fox Report" is great. Every weeknight catch Shepard at 7PM as he goes up against top competition from the entertainment programs like "ET" and "Inside Edition", "Extra", "Access Hollywood" and "Showbiz Tonight", yet he beats them all! Because he does his program in a very informative and updated way showing news that people care about as he stays away from gossip and tabloid junk at least he doesn't make it top stories. Also I love his style his rapid fire delivery of the news with his fast talking voice a trait he developed from his small town and humble beginnings in Mississippi. Shep proves he's a hard worker he always delivers the the news nonstop by running the headlines and flashes across the screens bottom and interviews are covered live with reporters on site whether it be domestic or international. And the stories covered range from politics, terrorism, crime, social issues and even environmental stories prop up even from the most uncommon places. And Shep isn't afraid to show news stories from anywhere even small towns come to focus and he shows the problems of all types of people. Plus when scandals are reported the investigating is deep and neither side is taking up with as good or bad, because the powerful are held accountable both democrat and republican. The show mostly ends with the G block segment a look at the happenings in the entertainment world, of movies, TV, and celebrity while it closes out with this day in history which is educational. Overall really Shepard Smith is a newsman on the rise at FOX News the way he does the news is impressive showing that something happens all the time everywhere, plus it's educational, informative, balanced, and honest and searches for the truth.
