Strictly speaking, this two reel subject. Leah Baird in the lead, does not have the true elements of a story. In the necessity of a man's marrying at a certain hour, the basis of this story, we have a situation which could be developed with good dramatic effect. But not as was done here, by the simple expedient of throwing a succession of obstacles in the way of the man meeting the girl at the appointed time. On the other hand, the film has the merit of good photography; it was produced in Germany and though the story is weak, the interest is in a way sustained. Some views of a Zeppelin airship appear. - The Moving Picture World, December 20, 1913
