Storyline

She often repeating herself and small lapses in her memory are the first indications that Mora Carlisle-Nevsky's family have that something is not quite right. Only in her mid-fifties, she is eventually diagnosed with a degenerative case of Alzheimer's, which will gradually make her brain function deteriorate and which will take her life in approximately three years. Despite their family line being predisposed to the disease, each of her family members takes the news in a different way. A forgettable film about a forgetful disease.
23 October 2003 | by (Dillon, Saskatchewan) – See all my reviews

There are not many good films about the Alzheimer's Disease. There still isn't. CBC presented "Scar Tissue" last year but it is largely a disappointment. It does star some well respected actors like Roberta Maxwell, Paul Hecht and the ubiquitous Aidan Devine, but the script is weak and hackneyed and their skills are wasted in a vapour. Sadly, this film about Alzheimer's is forgettable.
