Melanie Sykes is latest rumour for I'm a Celebrity 2014

Model and TV presenter Melanie Sykes is the first credible rumour for the 2014 series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

The 44-year-old, who found fame in the '90s Boddingtons TV adverts, has been tipped to take part by the Daily Star.

Should Tulisa head to the jungle for I'm a Celebrity?

Previous rumours for the series have included more far-fetched suggestions such as Tulisa Contostavlos, magician Dynamo, Tom Daley and Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan.

Sykes's TV career has included presenting jobs on The Big Breakfast, Loose Women and chat show Today with Des and Mel.

She also presents ITV daytime series Let's Do Lunch with former I'm a Celebrity King of the Jungle Gino D'Acampo.

I'm a Celebrity returns for a 14th series with hosts Ant & Dec in November.

Melanie Sykes, Gino D'Acampo land ITV1 series

Melanie Sykes and Gino D'Acampo will host a new ITV1 programme together during the summer. The duo will present Lunch with Mel and Gino on weekdays throughout August as both This Morning and Loose Women go on their summer break. Sykes previously hosted Today with Des and Mel with Des O'Connor for the broadcaster. However, the chatshow was scrapped in 2005. Sykes: 'Viewers saw my hormonal days'

Melanie Sykes has revealed that being pregnant affected her presenting skills when she worked on Today With Des And Mel. The TV star was expecting her second child Valentino Luca when she hosted one series of the ITV1 daytime show with Des O'Connor in 2004. Melanie Sykes splits from husband

TV presenter Melanie Sykes has separated from her husband after seven years. The 37-year-old has sons Roman, six, and Valentino Luca, four, with Italian actor Daniel Caltagirone. Her spokesman confirmed: "The couple have mutually agreed to separate. In the interest of their boys, they stay friends and will continue to be involved in their upbringing."
