Speculation is running rampant that a new Justice League animated series could be on the horizon, thanks to a photo posted to Reddit (via Cbr) which was reportedly taken at Warner Bros.’ Burbank offices which shows a poster for Jla alongside current shows such as Be Cool Scooby Doo!, Mike Tyson Mysteries and The Tom and Jerry Show…
Since cancelling the likes of Young Justice, Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Beware the Batman, Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network have just one animated show on the air at present in Teen Titans Go!, and with the studio set to ramp up its live-action movie universe next year with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, it would make sense to capitalise with a new cartoon. But, this should probably be taken as a rumour until we hear something more concrete…

For over 20 years now, Warner Bros. Animation has been producing some of the finest programmes and films in the business, with their most successful outings of course revolving around the titular heroes of the DC Universe. Recently however? Their releases have been less than exemplary.
The decline can be traced back to the demise of DC’s old universe, with the New 52 sadly alienating a great deal of fans with its rupturing of continuity and unchecked editorial interference. Sadly, its roots have also worked their way into DC’s once immaculate animated efforts, with films like Justice League: War and Son of Batman embedding themselves very comfortably in the annals of animated mediocrity. Uniform art styles and rigid story telling never used to be the norms of Warner Bros.’ animated adaptations, but they certainly are now.
It’s not just the films that have suffered either »

A DC Entertainment has just released a clip for the newest episode of Teen Titans Go! which is titled, "Dignity Of Teeth". In this episode, Beast Boy gets a stack of cash from the Tooth Fairy, so, against Raven’s advice, the other Titans start knocking out their own teeth to get some of that sweet Tooth Fairy money. “Dignity Of Teeth” airs Thursday, August 13 on Cartoon Network at 6:00/5:00c. In comics canon, Wally is the nephew of Iris West (played in The CW series by Candice Patton) — the love interest and eventual wife of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). While Wally initially served as his uncle’s sidekick and a founding member of the Teen Titans, he later inherited Barry’s mantle as The Flash.
Since Iris doesn’t seem to have any siblings on the show (that we know of), it’s possible that Wally’s origin story will be tweaked for his live-action “Flash” debut. His connection to the West family has yet to be confirmed.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said of Lonsdale’s casting, “Just like when we met Grant for the first time, »

Gary Collinson reviews the Lego DC Super Heroes Jokerland (76035) set…
Last month, Lego expanded its DC Super Heroes line with two Batman-themed sets in The Batboat Harbor Pursuit (76034) and Jokerland (76035). Clocking in at 1037 pieces, including eight minifigures, the latter of the two transforms Gotham City’s amusement park into the nightmarish ‘Jokerland’, with the Caped Crusader taking to his Batmobile to rescue the teen heroes Robin, Starfire and Beast Boy from the clutches of the Clown Prince of Crime and his fiendish associates Harley Quinn, The Penguin and Poison Ivy.
Jokerland doesn’t have a main build as such, instead offering four separate fairground attractions (each with a macabre twist), along with a new version of the Batmobile. The four rides are all themed to their relevant villain, with Harley Quinn’s Wheels of Fire, Penguin’s Deadly Duckies, Poison Ivy’s Carnivore, and the Jokerland centrepiece, which also »

The all-time classic comic book Batman: The Killing Joke is one of three new DC animated films on the way...
At yesterday's world premiere of the Justice League: Gods And Monsters animated film at Sdcc 2015, DC announced a new line-up of animated projects for 2016. The most notable of the three is an animated film based on Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's The Killing Joke, which will be helmed by Bruce Timm, the guy who created the art style for most of the DC Animated Universe since the early 90s.
Neither Timm nor 1988's The Killing Joke really need much of an introduction, as the latter is one of the seminal Batman books ever written. We still see traces of its influences in the movies (both Batman 1989 and The Dark Knight ripped directly from this Joker story).
DC also revealed in a press release that the film will feature »

Bruce W. Timm will executive produce the film which will sport "an original 15-minute prologue that helps set up the story, giving even longtime fans of the story something new to look forward to."
The comic itself deals with an apparent origin story for The Joker, and the shooting in which Barbara Gordon is paralyzed and changes from Batgirl into Oracle. No voice cast members were announced for the new film, only a general 2016 release date.
Two other animated films were announced at the panel including the original story "Batman: Bad Blood" which introduces Batwoman, and "Justice League vs. Titans" which introduces the Teen Titans to the DC Universe Original Movies line-up.

Warner Bros. held the world premiere of their DC Comics animated movie Justice League: Gods and Monsters at Comic-Con tonight, but superhero fans were in for yet another treat. Bruce W. Timm announced at the panel that the next DC Universe Original Movie will be an adaptation of Batman: The Killing Joke. Bruce W. Timm will executive produce the animated superhero movie, which, according to DC Comics, will feature, "an original 15-minute prologue that helps set up the story, giving even longtime fans of the story something new to look forward to." No voice cast members were announced, but the movie will debut sometime in 2016.
Batman: The Killing Joke is the seminal graphic novel written by Alan Moore and drawn by Brian Bolland that offers up a potential (but not exactly trustworthy) origin for the Joker, and that led to a paralyzed Barbara Gordon to retire as Batgirl. »
There's a new dark villain coming to Arrow. Oops, we meant Darhk. Neal McDonough has joined the Arrow cast as comic book baddie Damien Darhk. He'll be a series regular, E! News has confirmed. The character was mentioned during season three, but never seen. In Arrow, the character is the leader of H.I.V.E. and a former member of the League of Assassins, the one-time friend to Ra's al Ghul. In the comics, he was a villain to the Teen Titans. Here's the official character description: "Damien Darhk is a mysterious and sophisticated villain, and an adversary of the late Ra's Al Ghul. Now the leader of his own clandestine group, this cunning foe will prove to be one of the Arrow's greatest »
