The Shapies have become separated. Five of them - Bob, Paul, Sally, Sarah and Rex are trapped in an old toy box. They don't know how they got there and have a strange feeling they've been there for a very long time. They desperately want to get out to find their lost friends and get the whole band together again. Luckily for The Shapies, a magical character in the bedroom hears their wishes and opens the lid of the toy box for them. The Shapies emerge into a world they've never seen before, five-year-old Zac's bedroom. Written by Wes tatters

Re: Chris from NZ's illiterate review of The Shapies

Chris, I am the Creator and Director of the series, The Shapies. Across the years, The Shapies has won a number of industry recognised international and local awards for excellence on the production side. I might add, it was also regularly the highest rating show for its time slot in Australia on Saturday mornings (up against the likes of Disney). If you'd like proof of that, i'm more than happy to provide links. I assume you can use Google however.

A question for you; If the show is so bad / terrible / crap as you put it, then why did TVNZ replay the entire 2 seasons 5 times across 3 years? The Shapies has aired in over 20 countries including across the US. We have had nothing but rave reviews, and it still sells and airs now after all these years.

Chris ... get your head read and go back to 'shephering those fluffy little white things you call sheep over there'.
