The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Battles of Disrupting (Enemy's) Logistics.
Well, actually, there was no exact equivalent translation of the title of this movie. The term is used to describe a kind of warfare developed by Chinese guerrillas during World War II, in that it appeared to be the combination of warfare conducted by partisans, such as that of French Resistance and the warfare conducted by special force commandos, such as the British SAS. The members of guerrillas operated behind the enemy line by destroying and disrupting enemy communication lines and their logistic systems, and when there were opportunities, direct assault on the enemy's main force.
The movie was rather not as successful as it should be because it concentrated only on the individual heroic actions of selected members instead of teaching the audience the concept of this warfare.
