Lucia Cedron, remember this name. If this young Argentinian director can maintain the same level of sensitivity in her full-length films to come, her name will be known to cinema lovers. This short film was presented during the 2003 Toulouse Latin American Film Festival and was very well received, even though it did not win the festival prize for short feature (it did win the Silver Bear in the 2003 Berlin Film Festival). A young woman is sitting in her London bathroom, waiting for the results of her pregnancy test. Flash-backs show us fragmented scenes of her life before she had to flee her country, leading to the heart-breaking conclusion.
Ana Celentano is wonderful in the main role. I would love to see this director-actor combination again. Not to be missed!!
