This movie was very powerful. It was a great story and fantastically filmed on location in Japan. This story of an American high school student who studies abroad in Japan is one that anyone who has traveled or studied abroad can relate to. The main character struggles as she tries to fit-in to Japanese society. The director captures her feelings of isolation well. The acting by the lead was very good. This was a very impressive student film. I am looking forward to seeing this director's first feature.
