This is the continuation of the movie Chen Geng Meng Nan,released in the same year. Both are about the early life of Senior General Geng Chen of the People's Liberation Army, when he worked as an communist undercover agent in Nationalist controlled area. This film is a docudrama covering his unfortunate capture by his enemy and his escape to safety.
