I watched this movie without any expectations.
This movie seems to be unrealistic. So I was surprised to find out that this flick was based on a true story. The tone of the movie is dark. No humor. In that respect is has succeeded. The acting was not so bad. In all event the clichés were present. The good guy, the problematic relation between the main character and his wife. The bad guys (the oil, gas company managers, the environmentalists.
In any case I liked the subplot about religious fanaticism. This movie is clearly not made for entertainment, but for sending some message.
In that respect I rate this movie 6 out of 10
