One of the worst movies ever!
30 April 2004 | by See all my reviews

If I should say in a word the way I felt seeing this movie, it would be "revolted". Iliada is one of my favourites stories ever written and this is the reason why I consider this screenplay one of the worst ever written (on any story). I saw an idiotic & coward Achiles, an insane Agamemnon, no Patrocles (Achiles best friend, the reason why he ever entered in battle), no Gods except the three from the begining, an faded Odysseus. What purpose had the rape from the end? To show that Agamemnon was even more crazy, or that the screenwriter is sick? Shame!!! If I would follow the line of the movie without knowing the real legend, I would think that the greeks were the worst people ever existed. I'm sure that some of the crew (director, screenwriter, etc) have kids; is this what they want to learn their children about Iliada?
