Storyline

Norma is often left alone when her father is in quest of game. One day, an Indian, attracted by the girl's good looks, attempts to make love to her, but is felled with a blow of Dick's fist, her lover. The Indian departs but swears vengeance. Dick, who has started out on a hunting trip, discovers Norma's father, caught in one of his own traps. He assists him home, only to find that the Indian, during their absence, has kidnapped the girl. Dick at once starts in search of his sweetheart. Dick is now making his way over mountains until he comes upon the Indian's camp. He approaches cautiously, knocks the red man down, cuts the ropes that bind the girl and rushes home. Dick soon reaches the cottage, where he finds the old man in despair, which soon turns to joy, when he embraces his daughter and grasps Dick's hand in gratitude.
