Cranes, trucks, diggers and stuff that fascinate preschool kids, 29 April 2006
Author: S Roberts from Canada

It's just video of a construction site with narration from the perspective of the machines. A very simple formula, but three and four year old boys love it. Essential material for lazy parents, like myself, who are willing to plop the kids in front of a video for 30 minutes while you try to make dinner. Be prepared to hear the theme song and other bits from the show repeated from your preschoolers whenever they see a large motorized object. This is an early episode in the series of about fifteen. Other subjects include railroads, tractor trailers, the harbour, garbage dump, airport, race track, farm, ski hill, cement yard, rock quarry, etc. The rating reflects the magnetizing effect on kids. As for quality, the camera is in focus and that's about all that's needed.
