I have seen this picture, I am Mexican, and I think, the film shows the most popular Mexican life, in order to make fun of own traditions, language and culture.
That's a Mexican characteristic, it is not my case, but almost all mexicans enjoys making fun of themselves. On the other hand, this movie, show us the nostalgic 80's Mexico, in items like clothing, hairstyle, cars and architecture; Mexico has changed, but with pictures like this, we have the opportunity to see how it was before.
If you have the chance to see this picture, don't expect a great argument, story or acting, just see it to get some Mexican fun. Most people think's that see a Rafael Inclán's film is a waste of time, but anyway, that's part of our own and most popular culture, and we can not Deny it.
