Seriously, what HAPPENED to comedy?

When did comedy mean just video taping people in distress or when confused? I long for the days when true COMEDY or even ENTERTAINMENT meant something. Laughing WITH someone. Not AT them.

The saddest part of this and all the shows like it (too numerous to count) is that these 'victims' are so desperate to be on television that they sign the release.

If you like watching gory train wrecks, and/or have no TRUE sense of humor, this show is for you. If not....ho hum.
