Well I saw the 'world premiere' of this movie last night in the smallest theatre at the capital six here in Victoria last night.. it was playing at the Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival..
Anyway, the movie had a LOT of "inside jokes".. i.e. jokes only 'serious movie-goers' or 'film students' etc would really get. This movie was the first movie i had ever seen that mentioned imdb.com in it.. and in the Q&A period afterwards I told them I thought that joke was "Brilliant" :)
So, moving on. The acting, editing, and film-technique in this movie is all quite good. I was pretty impressed with what they managed to do with a budget of a meer $500k. I thought the 'film noir' spoofs were humourous and well-done.
To sumarize my little spooge of thoughts on this movie.. If you can get the chance to see it - see it. It is DEFINETLY worth your time, and I was very satisfied leaving the theatre. >
