Gabriel's ears prick up when she tells him Sean killed two girls that used to work for him and he goes in search of the evidence hidden in Sean's flat. Sure enough, he finds a necklace engraved with Silvie's name and decides this is a step too far. He hides the prostitution takings at Malcolm and Liz's house and goes to Lenny to tell him about his plan to hand Sean over to the police. Lenny makes no bones about how stupid he thinks that is and tells Gabriel to stick in there and feed him information about Sean's new 'business ventures'. meanwhile, Will and DCI Donald are still unable to find a concrete link between Sean, their prime suspect, and the dead girls. When Sean turns up in Shieldinch and starts turning his attention to Leyla, Gabriel decides to take matters into his own hands and grasses about the necklace to DCI Donald. All seeing Lenny confronts Gabe about his secret meeting with the DCI and warns him to make sure he gets info about the drug deal Sean was planning before he gets nicked. But Sean isn't up for giving Gabriel any more information, especially when the police raid the flat and arrest them both. Gabriel is unnerved by how calm Sean is, but breathes a sigh of relief when he heads back to Shieldinch, thinking Sean is about to be banged up and out of his life. Little does he know, Sean's got a plan up his sleeve and in return for the promise of immunity from prosecution, reveals he kept the necklace to blackmail the man who really killed Silvie - a punter. Frustrated, Donald has no choice but to let him go. Gabriel plans to give Sean's money to Angie but he's horrified when he gets back to Sean's flat and finds him a free man. Gabriel barely manages to deflect Sean's suspicion about who grassed him up away from him and Angie, but has no room for maneuver when Sean demands Gabe takes his place at the drug deal - Sean needs to keep a low profile. The pressure is mounting when Lenny refuses to help him and demands he stays in his double agent role. Gabriel rushes back to Malcolm and Liz's only to find Malcolm has moved the money. Losing his temper, Gabriel shouts at Malcolm in a panic and demands to know where the money is. When Malcolm finally recalls, Liz shames Gabriel. What has he become? Appalled with himself, Gabriel completes the drug deal, but gives Lenny the name of the man with whom Sean was dealing. Lenny is pleased but warns Gabriel that Sean will be watching him all the more closely. How long can Gabe keep this up?
