A simple forward Holiday special.
19 May 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Like all great shows,Tiny Toons has it's own little Christmas special. And it's a down right parody to "It's a Wonderful Life".

After trying to manage the performance of the Christmas acts for the prime time special. Buster feels as if he's not cut out to direct a holiday special, and can't keep the acts together. Which were secretly sabotage by Montana Max(who was outraged that he can't get a part).

So Buster leaves and decides to end it all by jumping out of the picture. Right until another rabbit(who resembles Jimmy Stewart) came falling out of the sky. And prevented Buster from sacrificing himself. The rabbit is his Guardian Toon Angel who was sent to help him out. Buster thinks all his friends would be better off if he was never in Tiny Toons.

And for that the Stewart Rabbit granted his wish. And Buster finds himself in alternate reality. It takes awhile for him to except the fact that he now never existed. And will discover that his friends really do need him around.

Despite it being only half an hour. This holiday special does manage to feature the usual gags, jokes, and celebrity cameos all fitted into one. I like how they parodied "It's a Wonderful Life" throughout the whole story. Not to mention Bob Hope and Cher appearing as the guest celebrities for the prime time special that Buster was trying to make. It has more than 3 funny parts, which I give credit to in making this watchable from time to time.

That and this marks as the series finale for the Tiny Toons series. But a couple more specials were made after wards. If it ever gets a DVD release buy it, if you like Tiny Toons.
