A story based upon the popular belief that a taste for liquor can be inherited. It shows the young man as falling once, but saved through sanitarium treatment, and finally triumphant over his weakness in the love of a young woman. While the story is simple the interest in it is increased by the suggestions it makes and the questions it raises. Some will dispute the accuracy of its conclusions, while others will be equally certain that its presentation of the conditions which exist in cases like this are accurate and should be considered as a sort of sermon against the use of liquor, especially by one who may be unfortunate enough to have the inherited taste. - The Moving Picture World, April 15, 1911
