Unacceptable 1.5 Hour Waste
25 March 2003 | by (Fairbanks, U.S. Territory of Alaska) – See all my reviews

Rules: Never watch just part of a movie. Never watch a movie with commercial interruptions. Never turn a movie off, always give it a chance till the end to see if it saves itself if it's bad. I broke my 3rd rule and turned this off after an hour. With 30 minutes to go I just couldn't take it anymore. This was a horrendous waste. In this terrible time we're living in with war & death I had hoped this would be at least decent, fun, & silly. Jack Wagner looked completely out of place as a cop in a uniform. Daphne Zuniga made the scenes she was in better. Thankfully she wasn't in more, though, ‘cause the writing here just stunk and she wouldn't have been able to save this whole movie. One scene was interesting for about 30 seconds and the dog's death from a dog lover's point of view was heart wrenchingly sad & painful to watch. Other than that this was pure F material. Comedy? Drama? Kid movie? I dunno. I might watch the end just to have watched this whole movie but honestly I could care less. That's how much this stunk. When it comes to rating movies I'm often kind of liberal. Not many movies do I completely hate and give an F but this one gets an F without a doubt. Complete waste of time.
