A two-reel war burlesque, with Dot Gould, John B. Brennan and others in the leads. The officers are known as General Delivery, Captain Smear, etc. The first reel is given up entirely to flirtations and wrangles over the girl; the battle scenes come in the second. This would have been much more amusing with a stronger plot to hold it together. There are a number of funny situations as it stands, but they are not of the cumulative sort and get only scattering laughter. The battle scenes are the strongest in the production. - The Moving Picture World, May 22, 1915
