The Whole Nine Yards star had been trying to keep the news of her pregnancy a secret while filming new TV series Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip opposite Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford. But sources tell American publication Us Weekly, "She's almost 12 weeks along. She's thrilled." The couple plans to tie the knot in New York City later this month. Peet has most recently appeared onscreen in Syriana and A Lot Like Love, while Benioff has scripted both Troy and 25th Hour. »

'Bonneville' revs up for Toronto fest

Bonneville, which will debut in a gala slot Monday at the Toronto International Film Festival, is one of the hot titles vying for buyers' attention. The road movie, which stars Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Joan Allen, is targeting older female moviegoers, a niche that has seen success with such recent movies as Something's Gotta Give, The Banger Sisters, Ladies in Lavender and The Boynton Beach Bereavement Club. Bonneville is one of six films that Cinetic's John Sloss, who sold The Station Agent and The Fog of War, is handling at the festival. "I'm a little concerned over the hype," he said. "It delivers to its target audience of mature women. Distributors are getting smart and realize that a movie can work with this demo with the right cast and high concept." »

David Kaminow has been named executive vp marketing at the Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group. In his new post, he will work alongside CTMPG president of marketing Valerie Van Galder on all aspects of the studio's film marketing campaigns and will develop and implement release strategies for all Columbia Pictures and Revolution Studios titles. He also will continue to oversee worldwide market research for the studio. During his tenure with the studio, he has overseen worldwide market research on such films as The Da Vinci Code, Fun With Dick and Jane, The Pink Panther, Memoirs of a Geisha, Hitch, Something's Gotta Give, 50 First Dates and Spider-Man 2. »

The Something's Gotta Give star joins a glittering list of celebrity spokesmodels including Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz after signing to front the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect range. The contract will see Keaton endorse face cream and make-up in print and television advertisements from this summer. Carol J. Hamilton, president of the L'Oreal Paris division of L'Oreal USA Inc, insists the actress is perfect for the campaign, saying, "She's a natural beauty. Nothing artificial.
