- When Alyssa, the vampire queen and her vicious bodyguards jump from a parallel world to our earth, three determined vampire hunters follow -- and a life-and-death hunt is on.
- Imagine a parallel earth where vampires have cut a swath through humanity. The disease is so bad, the ravenous bloodsuckers begin feeding on each other. Three surviving humans create a jump gate to our earth. But, Alyssa, Queen of the Vampires, and her evil bodyguards use the gate to come to our earth as well. They arrive to feed and breed. Now, the number of vampires here is growing and the humans are running out of time!—Anonymous
- Vampires have taken over the earth, so Father John O'Grady [George Stover], Shannon Wallace [Ashira Zimra], and Dr Brian Smithers [Steven King] "slide" to a parallel earth, only to find that pureblood vampires--Dragas [John Michaelson], Raven [Syn DeVil], and their queen Alyssa [Leanna Chamish] -- have gotten there first and are feeding on the local population in an attempt to take over this earth, too. After stumbling on three particularly gruesome murders, the sliders become allied with Detective Jake Bishop [Jamie Bell], who is investigating the murders. They tell Jake about the vampires, but Jake isn't too convinced. As more people start disappearing, however, Jake becomes a believer, especially after his assistant gets killed by one.
Meanwhile, the purebloods kidnap Mindy Fleming [Chelsea Leigh Ernst], the daughter of city housing commissioner Elizabeth Fleming [Erin J. Corsair] and force Elizabeth to give them access to an abandoned warehouse. When the vampires refuse to release Mindy, Elizabeth calls on Jake for help. She leads him and the other hunters to the abandoned warehouse where they kill a few vamps, but it turns out that the purebloods have taken Mindy and moved elsewhere...maybe to the old abandoned nursery on Route 17. But the nursery also turns out to be a deadend, except for the ability to knock off a few more vampires and obtain a map that one of them carelessly left behind. When they try to stop Dragas, however, they realize that his pureblood status prevents bullets from stunning him and wooden stakes from penetrating his skin. Just by chance, some holy water is spilled on a stake and, when it is used to jab Dragas in the thigh, the stake penetrates and he goes limping off. But not for long. As the hunters prepare to drive away from the nursery, Dragas jumps in the back seat of the convertible, attacks Shannon, and beheads her.
Switch to the purebloods. "It's time," Alyssa tells Dragas and Raven, and she leads the two to a bed for the gratuitous sex scene, during which Alyssa also fingers herself off. It's only by reading the video jacket that you learn the plan...to sire more pureblood vampires.
Meanwhile, the hunters regroup at the Fleming house and, after pouring over the map, decide to try the abandoned nut roasting factory. While the others sleep, Jake prepares some new stakes, this time made out of frozen holy water with a long metal spike inside for support. The next day, the four remaining hunters go off to "kick some vampire butt." The nut roasting factory turns out to be the lair. After staking another six or seven vampires, the hunters finally get to test out a holy water icicle on Raven. It works, and it's a good thing because next to attack are Dragas and Alyssa. Alyssa is impaled with another holy water icicle, but Dragas impales Brian with a pipe and then escapes. Jake chases after Dragas and gets him with a third holy water icicle.
Mindy is finally reunited with her mother. As they hug, Mindy says, "Mommy, I have a secret to tell you," and opens her mouth, revealing fangs. "It's OK, baby," says Elizabeth, showing her fangs. "I already know." In the final scene, the two remaining hunters--Father O'Grady and Detective Jake--pull wooden stakes out of their back pockets and advance on Mindy and Elizabeth.
