A Master Criminal needs to test the depths of his immorality by choosing the woman he loves as his next victim.
Fantastic story. A film noir that is similar to Sin City. The lead actor provides a great insight to what method acting is really about. With the way the film was written, the actor was able to convince the audience of his immoral behavior in certain aspects of the film. This also leads to good direction and a talented DP. There is an integration of a comic book feel in this film. This movie came out before Sin City and there are similarities in terms of the genre, story telling and lighting. The supporting cast did a good job. It is not to often in a short film where you will find a well balanced cast. I highly recommend this film for emerging and established filmmakers. It shows you what can be accomplished with great creativity. The Canadian film industry has been lacking mainstream short film. Hats off to Henry Bada and his team for delivering.
