Something that appeals to the eye
deickemeyer23 September 2018
As a picture, that is, something that appeals to the eye, "The Voice in the Wilderness" is all that could be desired. As a two-part photoplay, something which ought to appeal to a logic loving mind as well as to the eye, the offering is far from satisfactory. Entirely too much liberty has been taken in working out a story which might have been made of particularly strong interest. - The Moving Picture World, June 13, 1914
