History of Western Australia - From before settlement of the Swan River Colony

Peter Cushing was brought over from the UK to make this history of the permanent European settlement of Western Australia ("The Swan River Colony") for the 150th anniversary of this happening, including history about the "visits" by the Indonesia and Dutch (East India Company) along the coast. This was filmed after his involvement with "Star Wars" (later deemed "Episode IV"). A Land Looking West was shown on Australian (maybe other) TV stations, filming in locations throughout the state of W.A. and throughout Australia.

In Peter Cushing's auto-biography, he mentions "going off the road" at high speed in the N/W of Western Australia - a near thing which would have put to an end the completion of this documentary.

Last seen on video tape released by Channel 9 (STW-9), Perth, Western Australia. To my best knowledge it was never shown again on TV.
