I love the Coen Bros when they do what they know best (eg Fargo) - a take on the American heartland. But, PLEASE, stick to what you know & don't try and Americanise a great British film. It will just stand as a horrible bastardisation. I have to ask - how many American films or TV shows have been Anglicised? I can't think of any. But I can think of a **** load that have been done the other way around. Eg Till Death Us Do Part being Americanised as All in the Family (and to add insult to Johnny Speight's agony they site this as a landmark of American comedy
