The literal translation of the title of this film is: Fly, Soccer!
This movie made at the beginning of the reform is an outcry for reforms in Chinese sports, which was still dominated by the Cultural Revolutionary era mentality, i.e. everything is based on the political considerations and the actual skills are ignored, a phenomenon that was still common in China despite the end of the Cultural Revolution. For this reason, the movie is also a masterpiece of social criticism.
