Oasis in their earlier days deliver a fine rock 'n' roll performance.
10 January 2006 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

Live By the Sea is Oasis in their earlier days. Playing at a small venue at Southend Cliffs Oasis play 16 of their own songs and close their show with a mesmerizing cover of 'I am the Walrus' by the Beatles. They play nearly all their songs from their record-breaking debut album 'Definitely Maybe' and throw in a few b-sides for good measure. This is rock 'n' roll at its finest. Special features include the videos to 'Rock 'n' Roll Star' and 'Cigarettes and Alchol.' A must have DVD for any person even if only slightly interested in the band. Liam Gallagher, the lead singer, is as cool as ever and Noel Gallagher on guitar goes about his business in his usual swaggering fashion.
