Meryl Streep wins her first Oscar for "Kramer vs. Kramer", and the film itself ends up with five of those little gold men!! The others being for-- Picture, Actor (Dustin Hoffman), Director and Screenplay. Sally Field wins Best Actress for "Norma Rae".
