Quotes

Pete Sweet: It's funny really because poppy wasn't really my type. I like tall, skinny brunettes. She was sort of short, dumpy and ginger.

Sweet
28 March 2006 | by (Austria, Vienna) – See all my reviews

This a funny little short film about a guy having a totally normal relationship with an imaginary girl. If you're into "The Mighty Boosh" you should be enjoying this early collaboration of Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt as it is in many ways a prequel to their subsequent work already including their quirky humour and fabulous interaction. Fielding and Barratt are basically already being Vince Noir and Howard Moon only they're not working at a Zoo or talking to apes, yet. And, as the little twist at the end reveals, they're having a slightly different relationship to each other here than in The Boosh. "Sweet" can be found among the extras of "The Mighty Boosh - Season 2" DVD, which is recommendable to anyone with a soft spot for weird British comedy.
