A four-night spectacular celebrating the hundredth anniversary of the Statue of Liberty.
My family was in NYC that weekend, and this video does a great job of summarizing the events. It was a fantastic week of celebrating. At the time, it included the worlds largest fireworks display ever.
The video is divided into chapters with each chapter represented by a song and photo montage. Highlights include the parade of ships, the fireworks display, and the closing ceremonies.
There is an excellent version of the Star Spangled Banner at the end of the video. The song includes an additional verse to the anthem that was added especially for the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty.
If you want to feel patriotic, or remember what our national patriotism felt like in the 80's, then this would be a great video to watch.
