Part of the movie was shot in Toronto and a scene in which Robert Hanssen visits a strip was shot at "Club Zanzibar", an actual strip club preceded by a face-on shot of Hanssen looking at the club with a store called "The Glass Head Shop", another real store which sold drug paraphernalia. A very interesting story but very uneven and hard to follow. Robert Hanssen was a very complex man and possibly the writer should not have tried to capture him in all his complexities. None the less, worth your time in learning the story about America's most damaging spy.
