Entertaining, 16 September 2002
Author: ramen7noodles

The story is about a "forbidden" love between a brother (Hideaki Takizawa) and sister (Kyoko Fukada). However, the two are not siblings by blood but rather by marriage. Hideaki's character is extremely shy in the beginning and slowly changes due to Fukada. He continually keeps saying that she is the one person he'll never forget. (It is narrated from a future point of view). It's a pretty entertaining dorama with a great cast.

A wonderful story, 28 September 2002
Author: khamva from pomona, california

The main two characters are Hideaki Takizawa and Kyoko Fukada. Their characters are fun, interesting, and beautifully developed.

The story is about the ever asking question of "what if" there was a love between a brother (Hideaki Takizawa) and sister (Kyoko Fukada). They are not brother and sister by blood but by marriage. Can there be search a thing. I don't want to ruin it for you but you have to watch it beside it's an entertaining japanese drama to watch.

The best film I've ever seen, 10 March 2005
Author: Nitrous_3xu0 from Indonesia

This is a very wonderful story, not only the story, but the composition of the music with the film is so nice, and good to hear. I love this film, I've watched this film 7 times, every week I always watch it. This story is very unique, because, it's about love between brother and sister, and also(this is the important part)I like the Kyoko's character in that film, she is so cute and kind.Because of that character, it makes Manato Irie(Hideaki)can't forget her, and make Irie be braver.Once again, i like this story very much.I want to thank for the producer who have made this film.Thank you.If anyone of you have the picture of Kyoko Fukada, you can sent it to me.

Bittersweet... Unintentionally Interesting, 14 September 2005
Author: karmyk from United States

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

I went into this dorama only being familiar with one of the actors: Kubozuka Yosuke (from GTO). Thus, I didn't really have any preconceived notions about what to expect from the other actors or actresses.

I say this dorama was unintentionally interesting because I didn't really care much for the main characters, who not only bored me, but annoyed me to the point that I almost stopped watching the Dorama. I understand that Manato (Takizawa) was playing the part of someone who was more or less an emotional coward.. so I don't blame Manato's overwhelming dullness on the actor.. But for some reason, I'm convinced that I was supposed to see Yui (Fukada) as an innocent and cute angel... but she came across to me like an annoying spoiled (but cute) brat. She was charming at first, but towards the last few episodes she seemed really mentally unstable and extremely immature.

What I found more interesting, instead, was how the individual personalities and relationships of two of the supporting characters, Haruka (Uchiyama) and Saeki (Kubozuka), developed as a result of their involvement in the lives of the main characters... Sawamura Haruka being the most interesting because she seems to be the one who actually changes and develops as a character the most throughout the show (and quite possibly the only one who really matures as a character).

The pace was slow... but it made sense. The series lasted only 10 episodes, but it ends well-- somewhat open-ended, but with a fair amount of closure. Actually, what I found out in the real end-- the one that came after the credits on episode 10, specifically about what eventually happens to Sawamura-- actually was what gave the series a satisfying amount of closure to me.

Thus, MAKE SURE YOU WATCH AFTER THE CREDITS ON THE LAST EPISODE!!!! On another note, if you are new to J-dorama, I don't recommend this as a first series to watch... It might be a little unusual and dramatic for new dorama watchers.
