The Father Is Never Happy

"Meet My Folks" is a reality t.v. show, where three single men meet a girl and her parents. The whole time they're staying at the family's home, and are competing for a date with the daughter. Ultimately, the parents decide after a few days of questioning, dirty secrets being revealed, visits from ex-girlfriends, and a lie detector test. (Hopefully the girl has a say in it; but sometimes it doesn't matter). The people who run this show even tip off the parents at times, or do things to make it interesting. (Always with the dreaded fax-machine; you'd get it if you watch it). There are hidden cameras, so the parents can watch and see if their little girl is behaving with her suitors. And at dinner, the boys have to do little things (like belching a certain amount of times) or they will have a secret revealed to the family. Of course, the parents are oblivious to why they are being disgusting and annoying.

Overall this show is hilarious! The father is always furious that this is even taking place in his home. He never wants to like the guys or see his daughter with them. (Cause no father wants their little girl with any boy). So he shuns the boys and acts coldly and challenges them. You always feel sorry for them, but then start to resent them as their secrets are revealed.

This show is on every Wednesday night. I recommand it to anyone who likes to watch dating shows, (or to see two guys go thru Hell for a couple of days for nothing).
