giga tries to gather the media of today: TV and the WWW. Intended to attract the young audience, it managed to become a well-known program (although only broadcasted in a few major cities as a stand-in for american network nbc, which did not manage to establish itself and is nearly not known among germans) as well one of germans most visited web-sites. The show mostly consists of boring chit-chats with semi-stars (some stars like adam sandler or anastasia dropped in cause their agents confused msnbc giga with nbc, but nbc is to germany as wdr is to america) and the showing of stupid websites. O.K. there is Sports too. HEy, and an educational area called update ( which i tend to like a little bit). All in All giga is great for the teens, not to say the best, cause german mtv or viva su..s hhm...is bad.
