The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Sex & Nudity: 3/10

There is a scene where an abducted boy is locked in a room and 2 men come in. The boy says "No more...no more," implying sexual abuse, but nothing more is shown.

Jimmy and his wife share a sensual moment. She is clothed, but he is shirtless as they begin to make out vigorously on a bed together. Sex is implied when his wife says: "after this..."

Two teens decide to elope together (they don't due to one of them getting killed , which is the real start of the story) and kiss in a car.

Katie and several other teens dance ontop of a bar, but nothing sexual is implied.

Violence & Gore

Violence & Gore: 8/10

A moderate scene in which a man stabs another man in the chest, then shoots him. (bloodless)

Dave is seen killing a child molester, beating him brutally to the ground. Blood is all over his face, and Dave receives a slightly gory slash across his chest.

The strongest scene of violence involves three teen boys. One is thrown across the room, his face then punched, stomped on, and severely bloodied (his nose breaks too). Another is nearly strangled, then another pulls out a gun and threatens to shoot the strangler, and the one who started the whole fight. Police intervene, and the gunshot hits the ceiling instead.

Katie's dead body is seen three times, twice with a bloodied body and face.

Profanity

Profanity: 9/10

73 F-words and derivatives, 2 obscene hand gestures, 1 sexual reference, 16 scatological terms, 8 anatomical terms, 11 mild obscenities, 3 religious profanities, 18 religious exclamations.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: 6/10

Characters go to bars throughout the movie and drink and smoke.

An 19 year old girl drinks and dances at a bar.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: 8/10

Intense sequences. Abrupt flashbacks to scenes of a child running away from a house

Total: 34/50
