A look back at the history of one of the most successful and long-running film franchises of all time, Friday the 13th, including the evolution of the Jason character, how Kane Hodder came to play the part, and a look at makeup effects. Includes interviews with Hodder, Joe Bob Briggs, and Sean S. Cunningham. Written by Anonymous
Finally we get extras on a Friday The 13th DVD.
Paramount who own the first 8 Friday films put nothing on the DVDS, all we got were the movie trailers, Pt 6 a teaser and nothing on Pt 7 and 8.
But since New Line took over the series we actually have something on the discs.
The Many Lives of Jason Voorhees is a good documentary on the history of the Friday the 13th movie series.
While no clips of the first 8 Friday movies are shown, they do talk about them, show fake newspaper clippings telling of Jason's murders and have a few re-enactments.
But clips from Jason Goes To Hell and Jason X are shown.
There are several interviews with....
Joe Bob Briggs, Sean and Noel Cunningham, and Adam Marcus just to name a few.
And of course Jason himself Kane Hodder also appears.
If you're a fan of the Friday The 13th movies i think you will enjoy this.
The Many Lives of Jason Voorhees can be found on the Jason X DVD.
P.S. You suck Paramount!
